Biographical Info I am a Chicago artist working almost exclusively from life, whether figures or plein air. I work quickly, in alla prima style, and so almost never paint in more than one session, or change anything after the moment is done. I suggest details rather than explicitly include them; I only have so many hours left on this earth, and I don't want to spend any of them meticulously depicting a paisley print on a sofa.
