Susan Havey

Biographical Info SUSAN M. HAVEY -Havey Design Studios- After earning her BFA in Interior Design from Northern Illinois University, Susan designed corporate interiors for 15 years, before raising a family. Many years later-kids grown, Susan discovered she has the same passion her late artist mother once had for painting.  When not painting in the studio, Susan enjoys painting outside from life.  She has participated in many plein air competitions, won awards in juried exhibitions, and loves doing artist events throughout the country. Susan works mostly in oils, and occasionally soft pastel or acrylic.  She enjoys a variety of subjects, especially landscapes-but it is always the latest project that holds her creative interest.  Susan and her family have recently moved from northeastern Illinois to Western North Carolina.  She looks forward to discovering the area and joining new organizations.
