Paint Out: Cortland Bridge and Kingsbury (Sunday)

One company’s trash is another group’s treasure! From Southport/Kingsbury you can see the Ozinga cement plant, a tannery, and the big overgrown area. The bridge views offer the river with boats and industry.

Vehicle traffic is prohibited at Cortland and Kingsbury headed west all the way across the bridge. But it’s open to pedestrians and bikes!!

Sidenote: this 1902 landmark is the oldest trunnion bascule bridge in the country.

Many sandwich shops on Clybourn for coffee and restrooms. Street parking.
