Take note, this paint out is on a Sunday.
This beautiful garden offers both tranquility and beauty. If you’ve never painted here, you’re in for a treat. The present Osaka Garden had its beginning as Wooded Island in the 1893 World’s Columbia Exposition with additions following the 1933 Chicago World’s Fair.
The garden is located within Jackson Park, by the southern lagoon behind the Museum of Science and Industry. The address is 6300 S. Cornell Avenue, but it’s best to check a map for the specific location. If you haven’t been here before, it is a bit of a walk from the pay parking lot on Hayes Drive. Please check Google maps.
It is a very special spot and well worth the hike!
