Philip Juras spent five years exploring the prairies, working with ecologists and conservationists, and producing magnificent plein air and studio paintings that exemplify this passion.

Learn about his project, his process, and his advice to other painters with a passionate goal in mind.

The Zoom session will include a video introduction to Philip’s work, live interview and Q&A via Chat.

The Chicago Botanic Garden is using the series of paintings to entertain and educate the public on prairie environments.
