Philip Enquist

Biographical Info A Short Biography Phil Enquist is a Chicago architect and urban planner. For many years, Phil led the global urban planning practice of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and currently is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Illinois, Chicago in the College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs (CUPPA) co-teaching in the Master of City Design to post graduate students. He is a former Board Member of Openlands and a former Governors Chair for the State of Tennessee. Phil has practiced watercoloring for over 40 years while he lived in San Francisco and Chicago. His work has been shown in multiple solo shows at: The North Shore Art League, The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, and Brushwood Center. He has been included in group shows in Paris, France and at the Chicago Bridgeport Art Center. Currently, Phil’s work can be found at the Nathaniel Owings Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
